Lexington's homes run from 1920s and 1940s houses in Chevy Chase, Ashland Park and Kenwick to postwar ranches in Southland and Gardenside and newer builds in Hamburg, Masterson Station and Beaumont. Older baths tend to hide cast-iron drains, galvanized pipe and plaster walls that aren't square; newer ones usually come with fiberglass surrounds and garden tubs nobody uses.
